Yard waste collection. Place yard waste materials curbside the night before to guarantee collection. Use biodegradable bags or open containers (no lids attached) as these materials are composted. Do NOT use Township-Provided toter carts or plastic bags. Branches (< 3" diameter) must be bundled with twine and no larger than 3' x 3' bundles or placed in open containers.

The Upper Uwchlan Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on September 14, 2022, 7:00 PM, at the Upper Uwchlan Township Building, 140 Pottstown Pike, Chester Springs, Chester County, PA, to consider the Application of John & Susan Giangiulio and Jeffrey & Kathryn Sigel, collectively, of 280 Moore Road, Downingtown, PA, for a special exception, variance or other appropriate relief from the single-family accessory use regulations provisions of Section 200-62.B(1) of the Upper Uwchlan Township Zoning Ordinance in order to convert an existing building on the property into a 2-bedroom and 2-bath detached in-law suite to be occupied by the current owners. The subject property also consists of a conforming single-family dwelling, in addition to the existing building, and is located in the R-2 Residential Zoning District, being Tax Parcel #32-3-77.8.
