The Upper Uwchlan Township municipal building, located at 140 Pottstown Pike in the Village of Eagle, houses the township administration offices and the Police Department. The building has been expanded 2 times; first in 1987 when the original addition was made to the historic schoolhouse, and again in 1998. A new expansion of the building will begin this spring.

Temporary Relocation - Starting April 15, 2019

Renovation and Addition

Residential and commercial growth in the Township has accelerated in recent years. The population of the Township is expected to reach 12,179 by 2020. As our Township has grown, so too have the staff and services of the Township administration and police department. The Board of Supervisors contracted with Hammel Associate Architects, LLC in 2018 to design an expansion of the Township Building at 140 Pottstown Pike. The goal of the expansion is to accommodate both current staff and expected future expansion of staff and services.

The design adds 2,697 square feet of office space to the upper level administration offices and 3,377 square feet of space to the Police Department on the lower level. Exterior design drawings are below. The historic schoolhouse, where public meetings are held, will not be altered or expanded.

Yes, the telephone numbers will remain the same.
 
Where will public meetings be held?
Unless otherwise advertised, public meetings will be at the Administration office, 415 Eagleview Blvd, Suite 116, Exton PA 19341.
 
Where should I mail my sewer/trash payment?
The mailing address for payments will stay the same: P.O. Box 437, Uwchland, PA 19480. Bills may be paid in person at the 415 Eagleview address. OR pay online! Visit upperuwchlan-pa.gov and click the online payment button on the home page.
 
Will there still be a payment drop box?
Yes! There will be a payment box at the relocated administration office, at 415 Eagleview Blvd, and at the relocated Police Department at 520 Milford Road (the southwest corner of Milford and Little Conestoga.)
 
Can I still drop unneeded prescriptions at the Police Department?
No, the medication return program will be suspended while the Police department is in the temporary location. Nearby West Vincent Township has a medication take back box at the Police Department, located at 729 St. Matthews Road.
 
How long will the offices be in the temporary locations?
The renovations to the Township building are expected to take about 12-16 months.
