The contractor responsible for work on the Little Conestoga Road (LCR) Pump Station and associated sewer infrastructure has been delayed and as a result LCR has been closed only sporadically to date. Please be advised that the LCR detour is expected to be fully implemented beginning on Monday, July 27, 2015, beginning at 9:00 a.m. As a reminder, Little Conestoga Road, between Milford Road and Park Road, Upper Uwchlan Township, will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily (M – F) for the installation of sewer infrastructure. Upper Uwchlan Township will be installing sewer mains and associated infrastructure as part of a $3.8 million project to sewer approximately 145 homes in three residential sub-divisions, Eagle Manor, Windsor Place, and Heather Hills. The detour route is noted below and will be clearly posted for motorist convenience. Little Conestoga Road will be open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only, i.e. homeowners who live on the closed section of roadway. Please allow yourself additional time to get to your destination, anticipate delays, and use caution while driving in the area.
