The Township of Upper Uwchlan is accepting bids for individual pieces of equipment (with operators) to perform Roadway Snow Removal services for the 2017-2018 snow removal season. Contractors may bid on all equipment needed or on individual pieces of equipment needed. All equipment bid must be in good working order and Pennsylvania road legal.
Proposals must be received by Gwen Jonik, Township Secretary, by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in a sealed envelope marked “Snow Removal Bid”.
Proposals will be opened and read at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017.
Contracts will be awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 7:00 pm or a subsequent meeting as determined to be in the best interest of Upper Uwchlan Township.
The following equipment is sought on an hourly, as needed, basis.
Bid papers and specifications are 'attached' or available at the Upper Uwchlan Township Building, 140 Pottstown Pike, Chester Springs, PA, Monday – Friday, 8:30 - 4:30. A 10% Bid Bond or Certified Check must accompany all bids. Upper Uwchlan Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or a portion of any bids. Successful bidders shall post a 10% Performance bond upon award of contracts.
