Upper Uwchlan Township to Host Flag Raising Ceremony, Trail Connection Opening at Upland Farms

Residents driving by Upland Farms or walking the trails at the park over the past several weeks probably noticed the new fifty-foot flagpole recently installed next to the barn. Electrical and landscaping work for flag lighting was completed early this month.

Meanwhile, since late February, crews have been working in the vicinity of Upland Farms to complete the next stage of the Eagle Village Trail Connection Project. The new trail connection extends and connects the existing pedestrian trail on the west side of Pottstown Pike in front of the Reserve at Waynebrook to both Darrell Drive at Upland Farms and Park Road. The trail also connects the pedestrian trail along the 100 block of Little Conestoga Road to Eagle Village at Little Conestoga Road and Park Road.

With the paving of this new section of trail now complete, the Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce a special event. Join the Board at Upland Farms Park on Thursday, May 25 at 4:00 PM for a ceremonial flag raising and a trail opening to celebrate this new pedestrian connection. Residents are encouraged to walk the new trail to the event if they are able.
