Struble Trail Parking Lot at Dorlan Mill Road to Close for Improvements

Per an announcement from the Chester County Department of Facilities and Parks, the Struble Trail Parking Lot located at 780 Dorlan Mill Road will be closed to public use beginning Monday, February 27th. Construction is expected to continue through June.

Improvements to be constructed during this time include an expanded 32-space paved parking area, landscaping, lighting, and rain garden for stormwater control.

The nearest parking area, located at the intersection of Dowlin Forge Road and Shelmire Road, will remain open during this time, as will public trail access and parking at the Norwood Road Trailhead.

The former paper mill property located opposite the Dorlan Mill Road construction zone is
private property and should NOT be used by the public to access the northern end of the Struble Trail.
